  1. Choose a lane and make one sample
  2. Show how you think
  3. Make curiosity concrete

You do not need to be a pro player to start learning how esports work gets done. A small portfolio can show that you can research a match, organise a task, write clearly or notice useful details. It does not need fake clients, expensive software or a claim that you already work in the industry.

Choose a lane and make one sample

Pick writing, Arabic-English localisation, event operations, broadcast, data, design or community support. Then create one small project someone can review in a few minutes:

Show how you think

Add a note to each sample: who it is for, which sources you used, what you did and what you would improve. Share only material you have permission to use. Do not upload private scrims, personal messages, player contact details or broadcast footage as if it were yours.

Ask a teacher, club organiser or trusted adult to review clarity and spelling. If you are under 18, do not meet a recruiter alone, send identity documents through an unverified account or pay someone who promises a guaranteed job. Check that applications link to the organisation’s official careers page.

Make curiosity concrete

Read real job descriptions and list repeated skills. Titles vary and listings change, so verify openings on the employer’s page. Your first goal is not to claim you are ready for every job; it is to show evidence of one useful skill and improve it through a clearly scoped project.

For the work behind tournaments, start with Mghamer’s MENA esports jobs guide. Keep your samples in one tidy folder, add your name and date, and update them as you learn. The first project can be tiny. Make your interest visible and your next step clear.
